FAQ

Q?

How do I start?

A.

BOOK NOW YOUR 55-MINUTE TRIAL CLASS. No credit card is required at this point.

Q?

Should I be good with computers to take these lessons?

A.

No, you don’t have to be a specialist in computers. Skype is the only software you need for your classes and is really easy to use. You can download Skype by clicking here. Alternatively, you and the teacher can agree to have the lesson using Zoom if you prefer. It is even easier. You will only have to go to your email and chick the link we send you before every lesson. Automatically you will access to the videoconference.

Q?

Do I receive any certification?

A.

We give you a document to certify that you have been studying with Spanispeak. However, this document has no official validity. If you are interested in getting an official certificate, we will help you to prepare for the DELE exam, the official accreditation in Spanish as a Second Language awarded by the Instituto Cervantes.

Q?

What happens if my teacher misses my class?

A.

Teachers always notify us if they need to cancel a lesson because of a last minute problem or if they are sick, so we can let our students know and find a substitute teacher. However, if for some unknown reason the tutor does not attend the class, we will reschedule the class straight away. Also if a lesson is interrupted for more than 10 minutes due to the fault of Spanispeak or its employees, the student will be credited with an additional free lesson.

Q?

I already have a good level of Spanish. What can I expect from your Spanish lessons?

A.

The only way of maintaining or improving a second language at a high level is through regular practice. There is nothing better than a native teacher to make the most of your time by correcting mistakes and keeping your Spanish fluent. Book your 55-minute trial class and our teachers will design a program for you. Don’t let your Spanish get forgotten!

Q?

Do you provide the study materials?

A.

Yes, we provide everything at no extra cost. We have online resources for all level students, whether adults or children. Our classes are tailor-made according to your goals, that is why many of the materials used in class are developed by the teachers to suit the special needs of each student.

Q?

Can I cancel a lesson?

A.

Yes, you can cancel your classes 24 hours in advance. After that time, you will be charged for the class. To cancel a lesson, write us an email to info@spanispeak.com.

Q?

How long will it take me to learn Spanish?

A.

It depends on your goals, the time you devote, and your personal abilities. The more classes you take and the more exposure to the language you get outside the class, the sooner you will learn the language. It is essential to follow your teacher’s advice and keep in touch with the Hispanic culture as much as you can. There are no miracles. Languages takes time and effort to learn, but it is worth it!

Q?

How can I book lessons?

A.

To book a free Skype session, fill in the form and we will schedule at time with you as soon as possible. Follow the instructions to buy the monthly packs.

Q?

Can I reschedule my classes?

A.

Yes, as long as you cancel 24 hours before your class. If a student fails to be available online for a class, the teacher will wait (making every attempt to contact the student) for 20 minutes before disconnecting.

Q?

How and when should I pay?

A.

The payment should be made after the trial lesson through PayPal or as a bank transfer. The price depends on how many lectures you have taken.

Q?

Do my teachers speak English?

A.

Yes, absolutely. All our teachers speak English up to an intermediate/advanced level. They will guide you through the process at the beginning using English as a bridge. Otherwise, we recommend using English as little as possible in the classroom to learn Spanish faster.
